Nice to meet you

My name is William and I have been doing web development and design for over 10 years. I have a degree in web development and design and also a degree in business marketing from the University of Hawaii. I am originally from Honolulu, Hawaii but I currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I have designed, built and maintained many websites across several different platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, WIX and more. I also code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and Java. I have also done related work such as creating and integrating APIs, managing hosting environments, incorporating website security, working on servers, setting up email accounts and much more.

I have experience in digital marketing including social media management, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, email marketing, graphic design and more.

I recently completed a certification in User Experience Design from Google. There was over 300 hours of course work and I gained extensive knowledge and insights in to what UX / UI designers do and how to do it. One of the things that I learned is that there is a lot of overlap between UX / UI designers and frontend web developers. I have done a lot of UX / UI design work in the past without realizing thats what I was doing. I am currently exploring new career opportunities in UX / UI design and product design.
